This project brings together librarians from across Texas to identify requirements and
agree on specification for using Z39.50. The result of this effort will be a Z39.50
profile. Implementations supporting this profile will provide users with better
distributed access to Texas library catalogs and other resources. Moen developed a discussion paper for the
participants of the organizational meeting (August 18, 1998 in Austin) of the Texas Z39.50
