Upon award of the grant, the Principal Investigator will establish issue press releases advertising the project. He will also establish a project website at UNT to be developed and maintained by the Research Associates. The website will contain all relevant documents related to the project. The website will be publicized on relevant listservs such as the Coalition for Networked Information announcement listserv, the National Information Standards Organization listserv, and the Z39.50 Implementors Group listserv. The project website will also be linked from the NISO website and the Library of Congress Z39.50 Maintenance Agency website.

The Principal Investigator and Research Associates will prepare project briefings for the regular meetings of the international Z39.50 Implementors Group. These will also be posted on the project website.

Project staff will prepare and present papers at appropriate conferences such as the Annual Meeting of the American Society for Information Science, the Annual Conference of the American Library Association, and the Annual Meeting of the Texas Library Association. Other conferences may be selected for submitting papers and presentations. The Principal Investigator will be available upon request to present project activities and results to interested parties.

Press releases and articles will be used to advertise the project. Specifically, articles will be submitted to print and electronic journals detailing the methodologies of interoperability testbeds and the findings from this testbed experience. Such journals include JASIS, American Libraries, D-Lib, and the Texas Library Journal.

The Principal Investigator and project staff will look for opportunities to advertise this project, build interest in the testbed, and disseminate widely the activities and results of the project.
