Z-Interop2 Supporting Organizations and Staff

The Z-Interop2 Project is funded by National Leadership Grant from the U.S. federal Institute of Museum and Library Services. The Texas Center for Digital Knowledge (TxCDK) and the School of Lbrary and Information Sciences (SLIS) at the University of North Texas are providing local support and facilities for the project.

This project has contracted with Index Data, a consultancy company located in Denmark that specializes in networked information retrieval to provide expertise and to develop software used in the interoperability testing.

The project team at TxCDK consists of the following people:

  • Dr. William E. Moen, Principal Investigator

  • Jason Thomale, Research Assistant and Masters student in SLIS

  • JungWon Yoon, Research Assistant and Ph.D. student in the Interdisciplinary Information Science Ph.D. program

In addition, the project contracted with Penelope Benardino, a former SLIS Masters student, to assist with various issues related to MARC, library cataloging, and database indexing policies.
