The TSLAC is a sponsoring organization for the ZLOT project.
"The mission of the Texas State Library and Archives Commission is to preserve the record
of government for public scrutiny, to secure and make accessible historically significant
records and other valuable resources, to meet the reading needs of Texans with disabilities,
to build and sustain statewide partnerships to improve library programs and services, and to
enhance the capacity for achievement of individuals and institutions with whom we work."

Texas Infrastructure Funding Board (TIF)

TIF is a sponsoring organization for the ZLOT project.
"The Mission of the Telecommunications Infrastructure Fund
Board is to help Texas deploy an advanced telecommunications
infrastructure by stimulating universal and scaleable connectivity or
public schools, higher education, public libraries, and nonprofit
healthcare facilities. The Telecommunications Infrastructure Fund
Board will also effect technology training programs and encourage
quality content that strengthens education, healthcare, and libraries
in Texas. Priority will be given to rural and underserved
populations."

TexShare

TexShare is a cooperative program designed to improve service to Texans. Members include public libraries that belong to the regional
library systems, academic libraries, and libraries of clinical medicine.
TexShare enables libraries to offer a broader range of materials and services than any single library can provide for its constituents.
"Established in 1993 for 53 publicly-supported four-year academic libraries, TexShare has evolved into a consortium of 600
community college, university, medical school, and public libraries providing cooperative purchasing for online information
databases, courier delivery service of library materials, and a statewide borrower’s card."
