    U.S. News & World Report has named the UNT’s College of Education online graduate education program the fourth best in the nation.

    UNT was ranked No. 4 out of 275 schools listed. The program rose from a No.16 ranking last year.

    Bruxvoort will begin her tenure at UNT April 1. She replaces Cathy Hartman, interim Dean of Libraries and former associate dean of libraries.

    University of North Texas faculty and alumni are part of projects that have received nominations in 10 categories for the 60th annual Recording Academy Grammy Awards. Nominations, which include UNT alumna Maren Morris, who was nominated this year in the Best Country Solo Performance category for “I Could Use a Love Song,” were announced on Nov. 28.

    As the population age 65 and older in the U.S.and the world – grows, so does the need for bioimplants, such as artificial knees and hips, dental prosthetics and cardiovascular devices. Implant surgeries can be taxing on older demographics who tend to take longer to recover, and once a bioimplant is inserted, there’s no guarantee it will last.
