We also participate in three collaborative doctoral degree programs.<br/><br/>Research is a fundamental component of our kinesiology master’s program, and you will have numerous opportunities to participate in groundbreaking research on campus. Some of our current research areas include motor behavior, exercise physiology, nutrition, immunology, sport sociology, stress reactivity, cerebral blood flow regulation, exercise interventions and health disparities.<br/><br/>Our faculty members are outstanding teachers, recognized scholars and active researchers. Our alumni can be found in colleges, universities, government agencies, businesses, hospitals and schools.</p></career-outlook><courses-label/><course-title-1>Research Perspectives in Kinesiology, Health Promotion and Recreation (3 hrs)</course-title-1><course-description-1>Research techniques and their application to the research process in kinesiology, health promotion and recreation.</course-description-1><course-title-2>Sport and Exercise Psychology (3 hrs)</course-title-2><course-description-2>Introduces students to the science of psychology in sport and exercise settings. Topics include motivation, mental preparation strategies, arousal-performance relationship, exercise adherence, and exercise and mental health.</course-description-2><course-title-3>Quantitative Procedures in Exercise and Sport Sciences (3 hrs)</course-title-3><course-description-3>In-depth study of analysis techniques necessary for scientific investigations in exercise and sport.
