Favorite place on campus

The Pohl Recreation Center! It provides an opportunity for students to prioritize their health while attending their classes during the semester. They offer a space for open gym workouts, but also coordinate intramural sports so students can meet one another.

Favorite thing to do in Denton

The Denton Square is always a great go-to for good food and activities on the courthouse lawn. Oftentimes, there is live music from LSA Burger that provides a fun atmosphere for the Square. If you like coffee, West Oak Coffee Bar is a great study spot!

Favorite UNT fact

Since 1964, 100 UNT College of Music alumni have worked on projects that have led to Grammy Awards nominations, with 53 wins!

What advice do you have for prospective students?

Get involved with the university and utilize its services! We have over 450 student organizations, a variety of intramural sports, the Student Health and Wellness Center, and 4 libraries that can assist with your overall wellness and academic studies. If you get involved in any of these, it will help you meet other students with similar interests and goals!

What is a random fact about you?

I won the Tennis State Championship in high school as a freshman! The experience plays such a great memory to talk about with friends and family.
