Oct. 3, 2014
Dear UNT community,
I hope to see you at the "Mean Green Circus: The Greatest Homecoming on Earth," this Nov. 3-8 when we celebrate the fun and bonds of being a university community at Homecoming 2014.
Homecoming is about all of us — students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends — coming together to celebrate our excellence, traditions and Mean Green Pride while showing off our UNT spirit.
The festivities include:
- Homecoming Picnic: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 4, at the Library Mall
- Spirit Day: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 6, at the Library Mall
- Spirit March: 7 p.m. Nov. 7, starting at Fraternity Row and ending at Apogee Stadium
- Homecoming Pep Rally and Bonfire: 8 p.m. Nov. 7 at Apogee Stadium
- Homecoming Parade: 1 p.m. Nov. 8, starting at Welch and Hickory Streets and ending at North Texas Boulevard and Highland Street
- Tailgating: Before the game Nov. 8 at Apogee Stadium
- Mean Green vs. Florida Atlantic game: 6 p.m. kickoff Nov. 8 at Apogee Stadium
There are plenty of ways you can get involved as a student or as a faculty and staff member. Join us for the fun and excitement and let the green shine through!
UNT Proud,
Neal Smatresk
