Feb. 20, 2018

Dear UNT faculty, staff and student employees,

During the last few years, UNT has focused on embracing a culture of process improvement and compliance consciousness. We expect that all faculty and staff conduct official business with the highest standards of ethics, honesty and integrity.

To confirm all employees are aware of our standards, UNT has developed a mandatory Compliance Awareness Training for all faculty, staff, hourly employees and student employees. The online Compliance Awareness Training must be completed by Friday, April 20, 2018.

You will be automatically enrolled this week in an online, self-paced Compliance Awareness Training through the Learning Portal. You will receive an email with access instructions from MyLearning-DoNotReply@untsystem.edu. The training and quiz should take about 20 minutes total.

To make the training as convenient and efficient as possible, it can be completed on most smartphones, tablets and computers. Speakers or headphones will be needed, unless you select the non-audio version of the training.

Once you complete the training, you will need to launch a 10-question quiz from within the Learning Portal. You must earn a passing score of 70 or above to earn the required completion certificate. To re-take the quiz (if necessary) or view/print your certificate (optional), go to the compass button in the top right corner of the Learning Portal NavBar, select “Learning Home” and access “My Learning” in the Quick Links box on the left side of the screen.

I encourage managers to monitor their team's progress. You can see how your team is doing by going to the Learning Home page and clicking on the “Team” links in the “Manager Quick Links” box on the left side of the page.

If you encounter an error or have a question, you can find help at these resources:

Your participation in this course ensures UNT continues to be compliant in all we do.

UNT Proud,

Neal Smatresk
