Deadline for Gallup’s Employee Engagement Survey is 5 p.m. Friday — A Message from the President

Dear UNT faculty and staff,

Thank you to everyone who has shared your input on UNT’s current work environment through the 2018 Employee Engagement Survey administered by Gallup. Almost 70 percent of our employees have completed the 13-question survey, which is much higher than our 2017 participation rate. Results from this survey will help campus leadership better understand where we succeed, where we can improve and what positive changes were made from 2017 to 2018.

If you have not taken the survey, please do so by 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16.

To access your unique survey, search your inbox for an email from Gallup with “[EXT] Your opinion counts: Faculty and Staff Feedback Request” in the subject line. The survey only takes about five minutes to complete. All responses are confidential and individual survey responses are combined into workgroup-level reports so that responses cannot be linked back to individuals.

As you heard at the town hall meeting last month, it’s an important objective for UNT and the UNT System as a whole to increase employee engagement so that all employees view UNT as a family united by a common purpose and goals — not just a place to work.
