Dear faculty and staff,
As you know, UNT’s New College at Frisco opened in January with a mission to bring the power of a UNT education to one of the nation’s fastest-growing and industry-rich areas.
I’m excited to tell you that, along with a range of courses, we are offering degree programs at the off-site instructional facility starting this fall. We’re creating programs that meet student, workforce and industry needs — built from the same high-quality academic mold as UNT programs. Our focus is to further develop programs that cater to a corporate hotspot where top companies such as Toyota, Frito-Lay and the Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters — The Star— are located and where the local community colleges are our natural partners.
With these programs, we’re gaining momentum! We’re offering courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels and we have a variety of programs under development in areas such as data science and game design that will be launched in the future.
Meanwhile, we’re marketing UNT’s New College to raise overall awareness and target prospective students for the programs we’re offering this fall. I hope you’ll share this news with future UNT students, friends, peers and business associates who might be interested so you can help us get the word out!
