Dear UNT Faculty and Staff,
Parking permits for the 2017-18 school year are on sale now. All permits for returning faculty and staff are available for purchase online. For your convenience, you may pay for your permit by credit card or by paycheck withdrawal.
In order to keep up with maintenance costs and continue to provide the best possible services we can for the UNT community, the price for A permits has increased this year to $650. The F/S permit, which saw an increase last year, remains the same at $225. Faculty/Staff parking for the Highland Street Garage is $650 (for non-reserved spaces), which is a $200 reduction from last year's $850 rate for the year. Reserved spaces in the garage are $1,200. A new permit has been added this year for those who work in the evenings. The EVN permit is $137 and allows for parking in all lots except for Resident and Resident Reserved from 5:30 p.m. to 7 a.m. weekdays and all day on weekends.
We have also reworked some lots to provide parking closer to the east side of campus in the vicinity of the RTFP and Art buildings. Lot 54 will have 76 F/S spaces and 17 ADA spaces added. Lot 55 will have 51 additional F/S spaces. Lots 33 and 42, just south of the Highland Street Garage, will revert back to Eagle lots.
We have also added a new hourly pay lot for faculty, staff and visitor use. Users of Lot 16, located just north of Santa Fe Hall on Prairie Street, can pay by the ParkMobile app.
If you have any parking or transportation questions, we encourage you to stop by our office on the first floor of the Highland Street Garage or contact us at 940-565-3020 or email@example.com. You can also keep in touch with us on Twitter at @UNTTransit or on Facebook at UNTtransportation.
