Dear UNT Students,

Do you have an idea worth sharing at TEDxUNT taking place on Friday, Oct. 1? If so, we are inviting you to speak with the event organizing committee regarding your topic.

The 10-minute, informal discussions will take place via Zoom on April 7 and 16 (only one date required), and additional information regarding how to prepare is located on the TEDxUNT website. Please note that, at this time, speaker discussions are limited to only faculty and students.

TEDxUNT: Create the Change will be held in the University Union. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED, which stands for Technology, Entertainment and Design, has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together worldwide to share a TED-like experience, and TEDxUNT is our licensed event.

Attendees will hear from students, faculty, alumni and others as we explore topics ranging from research and innovation to social justice and sustainability. There also will be numerous performances throughout the afternoon.

The TEDxUNT: Create the Change event will be larger than previous events on campus, but seating will still be limited, so plan to register for a ticket as soon as they become available. Free tickets will be available beginning in August.

Visit TEDxUNT.org for updates leading up to the event or emailtedxunt@unt.edu if you have questions.
