UNT’s Mean Green football team plays Southern Methodist University at Apogee Stadium Saturday, Sept. 1. Kickoff is at 6:30 p.m.
Get game ticket information here. Students can now access their free Mean Green football tickets by phone. Go to UNTtix.com and login with your @my.unt.edu email address. Respond "Yes" to 458-78 to opt-in and receive your tickets via text. For this game only, student can get two free tickets for each student ticket reserved.

Parking for the game will be available in the game day lots at Fouts Field and Victory Hall. See a map showing the game day lots (stripes with green footballs). To accommodate game day traffic, all vehicles must be out of Fouts Field Lots 19 and 20, Victory Hall Lots 80, 81, 82, 83 and 85, RV parking Lot 80 and Mean Green Village lots 71 and 77 starting at 3 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 31.
Vehicles that are not moved are subject to citation and/or towing. Please move your vehicle following the directions below to prevent towing. Game day citations are $125 and that amount will need to be paid either at the Transportation Services Office on the first floor of Highland Street Garage or online at transportation.unt.edu. To pick up a vehicle that has been towed, you must stop by the Transportation Services Office on the first floor of Highland Street Garage.
Directions for moving vehicles
Permit holders who move from Fouts, Victory and the Mean Green Village lots may park their vehicles in Eagle lots east of the University Union starting at 3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 31. Vehicles must be moved to those lots by 10 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 31. See the parking lot map.
You cannot park for free in the garages during home football game weekends. Permit holders who choose to park in one of the garages will be charged the full amount for parking in Highland Street Garage or cited if Parkmobile has not been paid in Union Circle Garage.
Those with R, RR or FCS permits must move their vehicles back to Fouts Field or Victory Hall parking lots by 10 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 3.
Friday and weekend transportation
On Fridays and throughout the weekend of home games, students on campus can use the Mean Green Night Rider. See the Mean Green Night Rider route. E-ride on demand runs from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and will pick you up at a campus location and deliver you to another campus location. To schedule a ride, call 940-565-3014. From 2 a.m. to 7 a.m., you can schedule a ride from anywhere on campus to any other location on campus through Lyft at no cost to you.
Please note: The Mean Green weekend bus and e-ride do not run to Victory Hall two hours prior to, and for an hour after, home games. The routes remain unchanged on the main part of campus. An ADA shuttle will be available at Fouts Field parking lot to take people to Apogee Stadium for three hours prior to game time through an hour after the game. Pick-up location is on the west side of Fouts. Mean Green Game Day Shuttle
There will be a shuttle from downtown Denton to Lot 86 north of Apogee Stadium for home football games. The Mean Green Game Day Shuttle is a complimentary special event transportation service and will pick up passengers from several local downtown businesses. The Game Day Shuttle is the result of a partnership between UNT Athletics, the Denton Convention & Visitors Bureau and Jagoe-Public Company.
