Faculty in Residence (FIR) work with students living in the residence halls to bridge students’ academic and residential experiences. They do this by facilitating students' active participation in the community.
The goal of the FIR program is to provide formal and informal interactions through conversations, classes and educational programming, providing residents opportunities to approach and relate to faculty on a more personal level, inspiring them to pursue further education and hopefully intrigue their interests to take their learning to the next level. The deadline to apply for a Faculty in Residence position is March 15 (Wednesday). Apply now.
