“Bob’s Burgers” actors to come to UNT April 24

Two actors from the popular Fox TV cartoon series “Bob’s Burgers” will bring their comic skills to the University of North Texas.

“An Evening with H. Jon Benjamin and Eugene Mirman,” featuring the actors who play Bob and Eugene Belcher in the Emmy-winning show, will take place at 8 p.m. April 24 at the UNT Coliseum.

The event is part of the Mary Jo and V. Lane Rawlins Fine Arts Series.

The show focuses on the Belcher family that runs a hamburger restaurant. Benjamin has appeared on the Netflix TV show “Master of None” and also voices Sterling Archer on the FX series “Archer.” Mirman has appeared on “Archer,” “Inside Amy Schumer” and “Aqua Teen Hunger Force.”

Tickets are on sale and are free for UNT students; $5 for student guests; $15 for faculty, staff and alumni; and $25 for the general public. Tickets can be obtained at untuniontickets.com. Guests without a UNT parking sticker can purchase a parking permit option at that same website.

Mary Jo and V. Lane Rawlins Fine Arts Series

The University of North Texas Mary Jo and V. Lane Rawlins Fine Arts Series began in 1903 as the Lyceum Series when UNT was North Texas Normal College. The program has grown over the past century while never losing sight of its purpose—to enrich the lives of UNT students through engaging and diverse events and artist presentations. The FAS strives to present an exciting series of performing, visual and literary arts events free of charge to UNT students.
