In order to provide the best customer service possible and ensure a smooth implementation of eLeave, two areas have been identified for the preliminary implementation phase beginning May 15th and other areas scheduled to be added throughout the summer. In the coming weeks, you will receive information regarding eLeave implementation date and training specific to your area.
WHAT IS eLEAVE?
eLeave is an online tool for requesting, approving and tracking leave. It’s something you can use from your home computer or your phone. The new process will replace the current paper forms, and is accessed through your portal at my.unt.edu. This is important because of the following benefits:
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS
- Saves time since you can now enter the absence request directly into the online eLeave application which can be approved instantly
- You can make a request from any device with internet access – computer, smartphone or tablet
- Submitter and approver will receive email notification and reminders
- Removes need for paper forms (UPO15, UPO 25 and VPAA 151)
WHEN WILL TRAINING OCCUR?
Trainings will be provided before the roll out date for your area. Please watch out for further communication on training schedule.
