Supervisory Building Blocks is designed to strengthen and develop the skills of new and current supervisors through classes including foundations of supervision, communications skills, performance management, coaching, hiring responsibilities, employee relations and operational services. The program allows supervisors and managers to learn collaboratively with other supervisors across campus.
Fall sessions are currently scheduled at UNT Denton campus, UNT Dallas and the UNT Health Science Center.
Supervisory Building Blocks consists of 30 hours of training, including 12 foundation sessions and six hours of electives and the courses can be taken in any order.
