Reserve Homecoming 2016 tailgate tent packages

Mean Green Athletics is offering three tailgate tent options to choose from for the Nov. 5 Homecoming football game. Tent packages are available through Oct. 21.

UNT will celebrate the university’s history and traditions as Homecoming week kicks off Oct. 31 with a week of activities, ending with tailgating and the Mean Green vs. Louisiana Tech football game Nov. 5 at Apogee Stadium. Buy your game tickets.

Homecoming tailgate tents will be located southeast of the stadium and can be purchased at the ticket office or by phone at 940-565-2527 or 800-868-2366. Student organizations can reserve tents through Student Activities.

This year’s tailgate tent options are:

  • A 10-foot by 20-foot tent with three 8-foot banquet tables, 20 chairs, one priority parking pass and one of the following:
    • 10 general admission tickets for $500
    • 10 reserved tickets for $700
    • Price for student organizations (with no tickets included) $350
  • A 20-foot by 20-foot tent with six 8-foot banquet tables, 40 chairs, two priority parking passes and one of the following ticket packages:
    • 20 game general admission tickets for $750
    • 20 reserved tickets for $1,050
    • Price for student organizations (with no tickets included) $500
  • A 30-foot by 30-foot tent with 10 8-foot banquet tables, 60 chairs, three priority parking passes and the following ticket packages:
    • 30 general admission tickets for $1,100
    • 30 reserved tickets for $1,500
    • Price for student organizations (no tickets included) $750

Home game tailgate packages

Tent and ticket packages will be available for each home game in the tailgating area east of Apogee Stadium. Tailgate tent packages for Mean Green home games include:

  • A 20-foot by 20-foot tent with six 8-foot banquet tables, 40 chairs, two priority parking passes and 40 game tickets at $850 for general admission tickets and $1,425 for reserved tickets. Learn more.

Keeping up with the Mean Green all season

For the 2016-17 football season, the Mean Green will play six home games beginning with the Sept. 3 game against hometown rival Southern Methodist University. Kickoff is at 6 p.m. at Apogee Stadium.
