UNT's annual Salute to Faculty Excellence Week is Sept. 19-23.
The 2016 Salute to Faculty Excellence Awards Dinner and Celebration theme is "Celebrating Our Top-Tier Creators and Innovators" and is set for 6:30 p.m. Sept. 22 at UNT's Apogee Stadium. The annual event honors UNT faculty award winners, newly tenured and promoted faculty members and those who recently received emeritus appointments.
The UNT Foundation's top four honorees (above) are:
- David Mason, Regents Professor of Political Science
- Narendra Dahotre, University Distinguished Research Professor of materials science and engineering
- Jean Keller, professor of kinesiology and health promotion
- Wendy Watson, senior lecturer in political science
What: Salute to Faculty Excellence Week is an annual event to honor UNT faculty award winners, newly tenured and promoted faculty members and those who recently received emeritus appointments.
When: The week of Sept. 19-23. Events include Meet the Provost from 2 to 4 p.m. Sept. 19 and the Salute to Faculty Excellence Awards Dinner and Celebration. The dinner will be held at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 22 in the HUB Club of UNT's Apogee Stadium, Level 3.
Dinner Cost: Tickets are $35 per person. Please make your reservation online by Sept. 7.
