If you’ve been looking for a good home for your gently worn shoes or have new ones you’d like to donate, this campus philanthropy project is for you.
The Soles4Souls Shoe Drive, sponsored by the UNT National Retail Federation Student Association, allows you to participate in a truly sustainable activity and get shoes to people around the world who can use them. The nonprofit Soles4Souls redistributes the shoes to individuals in need and small business owners in developing countries.
The student association’s goal is to collect 5,000 pairs of shoes, which can be men’s, women’s or children’s shoes of any type. The drive ends Friday, April 3.
