UNT Shuttle DCTA NOTICE 8/21/2015:

DCTA will implement minor service changes next Monday, August 24, 2015. The new schedules are available online at www.RideDCTA.net and in the new GO Guides that will be made available Friday, August 28 at DCTA facilities. New schedule changes will allow DCTA to better accommodate passengers and improve service connectivity.

If passengers have questions regarding the August 2015 service changes, they are encouraged to visit www.RideDCTA.net or contact DCTA Customer Service at 940-243-0077. Thanks for riding DCTA! 

The University of North Texas (UNT) Shuttle changes include:

  • Routes that served Highland Avenue, prior to the Highland Avenue street closure, will now resume their pre-construction routing.
  • Campus Cruiser will no longer provide service to Discovery Park.
  • Discovery Park will extend operating hours until 10:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and will also provide Saturday service.
  • Centre Place East will arrive and depart every 15 minutes during operating hours.
  • Centre Place West will arrive and depart every nine minutes in the morning and arrive and depart every 27 minutes in the afternoons and evenings.

2015-2016 Route: Mean Green

Notice: Due to construction on Routes North Texas, Eagle Point and Mean Green the stop at Honors Hall  will be missed. DCTA will move all stops to Kerr Hall area. DCTA update passengers when they are able to resume normal routing via rider alerts and all social media outlets.

The Mean Green route serves as our signature circulator route. It provides easy and quick access to most points around campus, including the Fouts Field, residence halls, Rec Center, and academic buildings.


2015-2016 Route: North Texan

Notice: Due to construction on Routes North Texas, Eagle Point and Mean Green the stop at Honors Hall  will be missed. DCTA will move all stops to Kerr Hall area. DCTA update passengers when they are able to resume normal routing via rider alerts and all social media outlets.

The North Texan provides service to the University Courtyard Apartments, Uptown Apartments, the Rec Center, Environmental Science and Technology, and the General Academic Building.


2015-2016 Route: Centre Place

The Centre Place route serves off-campus apartment complexes along Bernard Street as well as the Campus Park and Forum complex.


2015-2016 Route: Eagle Point

Notice: Due to construction on Routes North Texas, Eagle Point and Mean Green the stop at Honors Hall  will be missed. DCTA will move all stops to Kerr Hall area. DCTA update passengers when they are able to resume normal routing via rider alerts and all social media outlets.

This route serves as a connecter route between Victory Hall and the main campus.


2015-2016 Route: UNT Discovery Park

Note: New service changes - please see map for details. Campus Cruiser route does not stop at Discovery Park.

This route services the UNT Discovery Park on HWY 77 / N. Elm St. It picks up from the UNT campus at the GAB bus stop.


2015-2016 Route: Bernard Street

The Bernard Street route serves off-campus apartment complexes. Similar to the Centre Place route, it serves apartments located along Bernard Street and includes The Exchange apartments.


2015-2016 Route: Colorado Express

The Colorado Express now stops at Medpark (A-Train)

The Colorado Express route serves off-campus apartment complexes in the Golden Triangle Mall area. It provides easy and quick access to and from The Ridge at North Texas, Pace's Crossing, Golden Triangle Mall, Medpark and campus.


2015-2016 Route: Campus Cruiser

Note: The Campus Cruiser no longer stops at Discovery Park.

The Campus Cruiser links the Main Campus to the Eagle Point campus on Monday through Thursday and Saturday and Sunday. Bus will depart Victory Hall and stop on the Main Campus. The bus will stop on the Main Campus before returning to Victory Hall.


2015-2016 Route: Sam Bass

Attention Sam Bass riders, due to the I-35 Express project, there is increased traffic on Teasley Lane. Please expect delays at peak times and plan accordingly.

The Sam Bass Route serves student residences on the South Side of I H 35.
