Our alma mater, “Glory to the Green and White,” was written by two students and adopted
in 1922. The words were by Charles Langford (1902-1931), who attended from 1920 to
1923.
"Fight, North Texas" was written in 1939 by alumnus Francis Stroup (1909-2010) after
'Fessor Floyd Graham announced a marching song contest at a Saturday Night Stage Show.
