Dear UNT Faculty and Staff,
For the past four years, we have asked you to complete the Gallup survey to provide insight about your experience as a UNT employee. The results help managers identify areas for improvement and increased employee engagement, and we have success stories we will highlight in the coming weeks.
In coordination with the UNT System, UNT will administer the Gallup Engagement Survey again this year to gain feedback about your everyday work experience. In addition to the standard 12 questions we have asked during previous administrations, we will add a few questions this year to gather your opinions on issues specific to working at UNT. Your input will show us where we need to make management improvements, tell us what motivates you, and reveal whether we are becoming a best place to work.
The Gallup survey will run Sept. 27 through Oct. 8, and take about five minutes to complete. Every unit is expected to commit a small amount of time to allow employees to complete it and all responses are confidential. The results will be released by the end of October and the data collected will be used by each unit to create a plan to improve employee engagement.
Our goal is to create an environment where every team member feels that UNT is the best place for them to work, and I hope you will take time to share your thoughts.
