Dear Faculty and Students,
The Eagle Alert system test is now concluded.
If you did not receive a notification, please check your contact information at my.unt.edu.
We suggest saving an Eagle Alert contact in your phone so you'll know the source of
the call (940-369-8097) or text message (89361). This will prevent your Eagle Alert
message from appearing as if it's coming from an unknown source.
Because the Eagle Alert system is intended to communicate vital, urgent information
in potentially life-threatening situations, the university maintains strict criteria
for initiating an alert to the community. If you are on or near campus and receive
an Eagle Alert, it is crucial that you pay attention to the alert. Learn more about the types of Eagle Alerts and their criteria.
UNT Emergency Management and Safety Services encourages you to review and become familiar
with the Mean Green Ready app. The app is available free on the App Store and the Google Play Store.
Don’t forget to follow @UNTEagleAlert on Twitter. You also can follow UNT Emergency Management and Safety Services and UNT Police on Twitter for safety tips, potential campus weather impacts, campus police activity
and other non-critical emergency information.
