During the presentation, President Smatresk will award a President's Citation to Regents Professor of Art History Dr. Nada Shabout, a 2020 recipient of the Kuwait Prize for Arts and Literature from the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences. Known regionally as the Arab Nobel Prize, it recognizes the lifetime achievements of Arab researchers.
