Dear faculty and staff,
I just had a chance to look over our January Gallup survey results. First, I would like to thank you. Roughly 1,000 more people responded this year, demonstrating that more of you are engaged and care about your workplace. I really appreciate your response.
Along with our increased response, we saw an improvement in our overall score. The detailed results also showed great progress in many of our areas.
We will continue to work hard to create a great place to work here at UNT. I appreciate all our Mean Green family does every day to help our students, each other and the community around us.
We will soon post the results on our Employee Engagement website, which includes tips for faculty and staff who are trying to create a more positive workplace environment. I hope you all take a moment to look at those. In the meantime, we are open to your ideas and feedback so that we can continue our focus on improvement.
