Dear UNT Community,

Today, UNT is beginning vaccine clinics for those in our community who registered through the COVID-19 vaccine registration site. Registrants will be contacted directly when their appointment is scheduled.

The portal has been updated to reflect the new criteria announced by the State of Texas yesterday (March 23), allowing all adults to receive the COVID-19 vaccine beginning March 29. The UNT portal will remain open indefinitely with no limits on registrants, and additional vaccination clinics will be scheduled as we continue to receive allocations from the state.

If you're able to obtain the vaccination before UNT's clinic, please email Stephanie Fields-Hawkins to be removed from the UNT list and make room for the next in line. Please monitor the Denton County Public Health COVID-19 Vaccine website for the latest information and availability.

After working diligently with the state to become an approved administrator of COVID-19 vaccines, UNT opened its vaccine portal on Feb. 8, and we will follow state regulations and administer vaccines to individuals as outlined by the Texas Department of State Health Services.

We are pleased that the university is now able to provide this service to our community.
