Due to the Winter Storm that has created icy roads and already left a covering of snow that is expected only to get deeper, UNT is closed and will remain closed through Monday. Please stay safe and warm during these prolonged record-breaking low temperatures.

During this closure all classes are cancelled, this includes online, hybrid, remote and partially remote classes as well as in-person classes at UNT's locations in Denton and Frisco. Essential services will operate with skeletal crews.

The campus is expected to return to regular operations Tuesday. If weather conditions continue to be hazardous, another announcement about an additional closure will be made. We do not announce re-openings.

If you had scheduled on-campus COVID-19 testing during this closure time, please check the websites for the hours of those testing sites to make new arrangements.

During this closure, on-campus dining will be provided at Bruceteria today (Sunday) and at Eagle's Landing Monday. The University Union will be open.

Human Resources will send out time reporting instructions for this closure.
