Join us for food, fun, information and the most comprehensive single-day visitor experience we offer!
This event is designed for high school students, current college students looking to transfer and their guests, but all are welcome at Future Eagle Preview!

What to Expect

At Future Eagle Preview, students and families will choose their own adventure from a comprehensive schedule that covers academic programs, student affairs, enrollment and new student services, student life, on-campus living and dining and more. The choice is yours at the most informative day on campus!

Each student will receive a printed Future Eagle Preview Guide at Event Check-in for their party.

10 a.m. – 3 p.m.	Next Step Station	It's in the name – take your Next Step toward UNT in our computer lab. Ready to start? Complete your admission application on-site for free with help from our G-Force Mentors. Ready to get funded? Set up your FSA ID and complete your FAFSA/TASFA application. Admitted and ready to enroll? Register for Spring 2027 New Student Orientation or defer your fee.	Various Campus Locations

11 – 2:30 p.m.	Residence Hall Tours	Enjoy a guided tour of select residence halls led by a UNT student Housing Ambassador! Please note that only the residence halls listed are open for tours. What is Future Eagle Preview?
Future Eagle Preview is a free, open house event designed for high school juniors, high school seniors, and transfer students who want to learn more about UNT and what we have to offer our students. It will also give you the opportunity to attend sessions led by staff from academic departments, tour campus, learn about admissions, housing, financial aid, scholarships, and much more. If ever there was a day to explore UNT and learn about all things Mean Green, it's Future Eagle Preview!

How should I prepare for Future Eagle Preview?

Are you offering application fee waivers at this event?
Yes! Undergraduate students interested in enrolling for Spring 2027, Summer 2027 or Fall 2027 who have not submitted an application prior to event day are eligible to receive an application fee waiver. In addition to submitting your application, guests are welcome to stop by our Next Step Station for assistance with your next steps! Whether you need help activating your myUNT account, submitting a financial aid application, registering for New Student Orientation or deferring your orientation fee, our helpful staff and G-Force Mentors will take care of you. (Note: Event fee waivers cannot be retroactively applied to applications submitted before event day. Students are encouraged to begin their ApplyTexas or CommonApp profiles prior to the event and finish their application in our lab to receive their waiver.)

Will there be anyone I can talk to about scholarships and financial aid at Future Eagle Preview?
Yes! UNT Financial Aid & Scholarships (FAS) will provide an information session to cover key financial terms and concepts, how to complete the FAFSA/TASFA and scholarship opportunities at UNT. You can also stop by the One Stop on the second floor of the Eagle Student Services Center (ESSC) to meet with the Student Money Management Center (SMMC) for tips on how to budget, save, manage surprises and take control of your money with confidence.

Can I go to Future Eagle Preview in lieu of Orientation?
Future Eagle Preview is not an Orientation session. All new students are required to attend a New Student Orientation prior to their first semester at UNT. Please visit the Orientation website for more details.

Who will be at this event to help me navigate campus and answer my questions?
Everyone! You’ll find that our friendly volunteers in bright yellow vests, our expert faculty and staff in UNT polos with name tags and even current UNT students are all welcoming and want to help you. We’ll be on the lookout for anyone who looks lost, but don’t be afraid to ask for help when you need it.
