Need help registering for classes? We offer Visiting Student (Online) Orientation.

Transient/Visiting students are asked to complete an online orientation prior to enrolling in classes at UNT. Online orientation is available through Canvas, UNT's learning management system. New transient/visiting students for the summer or fall semesters will have access to online orientation on the first Monday in May. For spring transient/visiting students, online orientation will be available the first Monday in December.

At orientation, you'll be informed about some basic university guidelines and academic requirements at UNT. As part of your online orientation, you'll also be given instructions for how to register for summer classes. Information regarding this online orientation is found in the UNT Admissions packet for visiting/transient students.

Don't forget to:

Tell us if you have a disability for which you will need assistance or accommodations by contacting the Office of Disability Access.

Want to continue at UNT? We'd love to have you.

Summer visiting students are eligible to enroll at UNT each summer after they have applied and been admitted as summer visiting students, but are not eligible to enroll in the fall or spring long semesters without first transferring to UNT by meeting all UNT transfer admission requirements. A transfer admission application must be filed prior to the application deadline for the semester the student wants to attend.
