Dear UNT Community,

I am excited to share an initiative that will transform the way we connect, support, and guide one another and our students through the complexities of professional life. Through a partnership between the UNT Career Center and the UNT Alumni Association, I’m proud to announce the relaunch of the Mean Green Mentors program. This is more than just a networking tool; it’s a dynamic, supportive ecosystem where we can help one another navigate the paths of our careers. Whether you are a student eager to learn, an alumnus wanting to give back, or a staff or faculty member seeking to provide guidance, Mean Green Mentors is here for you.

With Mean Green Mentors, you can:

  • Learn from Alumni: Discover how our graduates evolved in their careers and lessons learned.
  • Explore Careers: Dive deep into your chosen field through informational interviews, networking, and "day-in-the-life" videos.
  • Access Opportunities: Learn about job shadowing, internships, and job openings within alumni organizations.
  • Land Your Dream Job: Hone your interview and resume skills and gain access to job referrals.

I encourage all of you to be a part of this transformative journey. You’ll connect with others and gain access to resources designed exclusively for our global UNT community. For more information, visit the Mean Green Mentors website.

I look forward to the positive impact that our Mean Green Mentors will have here at UNT and beyond.

UNT Proud,
Neal Smatresk
