Dear UNT Students,

The Mean Green Football team is having a historic season this year, advancing to next Friday’s game undefeated. I couldn’t be more proud each weekend to cheer on our student athletes and coaches as the team continues to dominate on the field.

To help support this incredible run by the Mean Green, I’m excited to partner with Athletics and support our Student Government Association’s request that we conclude classes at 12 noon Friday, October 10, when we will take on the South Florida Bulls under the Friday night lights at DATCU Stadium. The game starts at 6:30 pm.

In the spirit of rallying the full Mean Green community, students should claim their free tickets from Mean Green Athletics.

Congratulations to an exceptional 2025 season and see you at DATCU next Friday!
