Dear Students,

Listening to students is one of the most powerful ways we can grow as a university. Your feedback helps us learn what’s working and where we can improve together. In the next few weeks, you’ll receive the Student Experience in the Research University (SERU) survey. SERU is an opportunity to share what matters most to you so we can turn ideas into action and create an even better UNT student experience.

The SERU survey is a nationally recognized survey used by leading research universities to learn about and improve the student experience. It explores your academic experiences, sense of belonging, engagement with faculty, use of campus resources, and overall well-being. The questions are designed to capture what your day-to-day life as a student is really like. The survey is confidential, and your honest feedback will help us ensure our decisions are based on evidence.

Your input matters for the future of UNT, and I encourage you to take a few minutes to complete the SERU survey when you receive the email invitation. Your input will help us strengthen advising, classroom learning, mental health resources, campus facilities, and student support programs. Your and your fellow students’ experiences and suggestions will guide decisions about policies, programs, and investments that impact students now and into the future.

Thank you for partnering with us to build a stronger campus community.

Respectfully,

Harrison Keller, Ph.D.
President, University of North Texas
