Dear UNT Faculty and Staff,

It is my pleasure to announce that Brandi Everett, a longtime member of the UNT community, has been named UNT's Vice Provost for Academic Resources. Brandi has been an integral part of the Academic Resources team since Fall 2019 and has ably served as interim Vice Provost for Academic Affairs since May 2022.

As Vice Provost for Academic Resources, Brandi will play a critical role in furthering university initiatives housed within the Office of the Provost, managing UNT's academic budget, and overseeing faculty hiring, compensation, and a wide range of personnel issues.

Brandi began her UNT career in 2010 as a student services coordinator in the G. Brint Ryan College of Business. In 2016 she transitioned to the dean's office, where she served as academic financial officer. She is a proud UNT alumna, holding both a B.B.A. and an M.B.A. in Strategic Management, and served on the Staff Senate executive committee from 2015-17.

Brandi brings a wealth of experience and expertise to this position, and I know she will be an exceptional steward of UNT's mission, resources, and academic community.

Please join me in congratulating Brandi Everett on her new role as vice provost for academic resources.

Sincerely,
Michael McPherson, Ph.D.
Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs
