Dear UNT students,

It's Homecoming week in Fabulous North Texas, and I hope you'll join in the festivities. Homecoming events look a bit different this year to ensure the safety of our community, but we still plan to have fun -- virtually! There are numerous opportunities to engage online, embrace 130 years of UNT tradition and celebrate what makes our university shine.

This year's Homecoming events include a trivia night, treasure hunt and bonfire games via Zoom, a Tik Tok Tournament, Homecoming Royalty voting, and a Casino Game Show. Student Activities also has created activity kits and tutorials for poker chip painting, card making, bonfire etching and s'mores. To learn about the specific events and sign up for activity kits, visit homecoming.unt.edu and follow @UNTHomecoming on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.

Our "Welcome to Fabulous North Texas" Homecoming events will wrap up at 6 p.m. Nov. 7, as the Mean Green play Louisiana Tech at Apogee Stadium. To inquire about student ticket availability for the football game, visit UNTTix.com.

We know this year's Homecoming week may seem "all shook up" but that shouldn't stop you from enjoying the events. Who knows which of these will become a new tradition for UNT! Whether you celebrate with us in person at Apogee Stadium or from the safety of your nest, let's make Homecoming 2020 the best. Go Mean Green!

UNT Proud,
Neal Smatresk
President
