A major event is coming to campus Fall 2020, and we want you to be a part of it.
TEDxUNT: Create the Change is set for Friday, Oct. 9, from 1 to 4 p.m. in the University Union Ballroom. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED, which stands for Technology, Entertainment and Design, has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together worldwide to share a TED-like experience, and TEDxUNT is our licensed event.
You will hear from students, faculty, alumni and others as we explore topics ranging from research and innovation to social justice and sustainability. There also will be numerous performances throughout the afternoon.
The TEDxUNT: Create the Change event will be larger than previous events on campus, but seating will be limited to only about 500, so plan to register for a ticket as soon as they become available. Free tickets will be available beginning in August.
Visit TEDxUNT.org for updates throughout the year or email tedxunt@unt.edu if you have questions or if you are interested in participating as one of the speakers.
