Dear UNT faculty and staff,

To insure your sensitive personal information is protected from cyber threats, a new security measure is being put into place.

Multi-factor authentication is now required across UNT World for faculty and staff as it relates to sensitive payroll and direct deposit information.

This means that all faculty and staff from all UNT System institutions will be asked to protect their identity and valuable personal information from cyber threats by registering for multi-factor authentication by Jan. 30 (TOMORROW) through our security partner, DUO.

The multi-factor authentication requires you to provide secondary information that is used to verify that you are authorized to access your information before you are allowed to view or change that information.

Registration is a simple process that can be completed online. Once securely enrolled, you will be able to update your direct deposit information in EIS, if needed.

Learn when and where you'll use the authentication process going forward and see a list of other frequently asked questions related to these additional security benefits.

For technical questions or assistance, please contact your local department's IT support group, or the UNT System Service Desk at 940-565-HELP (4357) or ITHELP@untsystem.edu.
