In response to continued questions about UNT's COVID-19 safety protocols, President Smatresk released a video to update faculty and staff. Topics discussed include close contacts, on-campus testing for faculty and staff, the use of surveillance testing and clinical testing for students, the lack of community spread, case numbers, new COVID dashboard charts launching today, and the importance of following UNT's safety guidelines. In a Thursday message to the student body, he also reiterated the need to remain vigilant in following UNT's COVID-19 safety protocols to keep the UNT community safe.
