Dear UNT Faculty and Staff,

Each of you, our faculty and staff members, has shown time and again how much you care — for our university, for one another, and for our students. This caring nature and commitment to our community is the heart of our Mean Green Family.

As we move into the end of a busy year, I’m asking for us all to come together and support UNT students who could use a little help — because we know that everyone needs extra assistance from time to time. We have seen time and again that a bit of extra financial support is often all a student needs to make it through a challenging situation and continue moving toward graduation and their greatest goals.

This holiday season, please consider making a gift to the President’s Student Emergency Fund, which offers students the critical help they need when they need it most. When we join together in generosity, it’s not about the size of each gift, but rather the collective impact of our community that will enable us to help many.

Thank you for lifting up our UNT students and showing them that the care they receive at our university extends far beyond the walls of the classroom.

UNT Proud,

Neal Smatresk

President
