March 3 1 - 2 p.m. Building Affective Commitment through Leadership Practice Register Here
The session is designed for those in leadership roles, with supervisory responsibilities, or those preparing to enter that space. It will cover research and practice that supports the use of interpersonal relationship skills to increase the degree to which employees identify with and support the operations of the team. Presented by Dr. Jae Webb of the Management Department.

March 4 2 - 3 p.m. Creating a Tag Using Blended Ink and Stamping Techniques Register Here
This session will allow the participants to create a tag that can be used as a bookmark or gift tag.  The tag will be made using techniques in blending ink and stamping techniques that are beautiful and unique.  Each participant will create a tag to take home.  Feel free to contact the instructor to see examples of the technique we will use. Relieve some stress creating your very own calming jar! Calming jars are used to help sooth children when they are getting ready to throw a tantrum but they also work great for adults as a small distraction to relieve stress.  While sensory jars can be created with a variety of crafts, for this session we will be using glitter for the jars. Join the Staff Senate for an opportunity to relax and spend some time creating art for you to take home or keep in your workspace. All supplies will be provided, including a variety of canvases and alternative options from which to choose. Stencils will be available for those who do not want to paint their own design. This session does not require registration, but we do encourage RSVPs to ensure we have enough supplies! Learn more and RSVP at staffsenate.unt.edu/SAM. Candles play a crucial role in your self-care practice? Learn how to make your own! This workshop will provide a brief overview of the candle making craft, demonstrate the process, and guide attendees through taking their very own candle and endowing it with an affirmation using crystals and botanicals provided by the Staff Senate. March 22 2 - 3 p.m. Toastmasters: Taking Public Speaking to the Next Level Register Here
What is Toastmasters? Toastmasters International is a non-profit educational organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills through a worldwide network of clubs. North Texas Toastmasters has been a part of UNT since 2003. Since 2003 over 100 UNT- faculty, staff, students, and North Texas community members have completed Toastmaster programs becoming proficient public speakers, while enhancing their leadership skills and communication.
North Texas Toastmasters Club Mission: We provide a supportive and positive learning experience in which members are empowered to develop communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth.

March 25 Noon - 1 p.m. Advance Your Career with Interdisciplinary Studies Master's Degree Register Here
Have you been considering graduate school at UNT? Join our session to learn about helpful information on how to pursue a Master's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. This degree is an excellent opportunity for you to grow professionally and advance your career. The INSD program consist of 30 hours total and the self-styled format is very flexible. There are three concentrations, the primary concentration is anywhere between 12-18 hours and the following two concentrations are at least 6 hours each.
