In February, the UNT System announced a significant overhaul underway to the Enterprise Information System (EIS) website — also known as the Employee Portal (my.untsystem.edu) — that includes the ability to perform all tasks from the con
venience of your mobile device.
As the website launch nears, they're providing a glimpse into the enhancements coming to the Time and Attendance sections, some of the most frequently used functions on the site, and encouraging attendance in one of the May training sessions. The training sessions for UNT (listed below) will provide an overview of the following Time and Attendance functions:
The Payroll Dashboard
Employees will access payroll transactions through tiles, such as viewing paycheck stubs, accessing and consenting to W-2 forms, updating/adding direct deposit information and updating/viewing W-4 information. Cool feature: You can add your own tiles and personalize your page to save time and make navigating even easier.
Leave and Compensation Balance
Employees will see a real-time snapshot of their current leave balances. Supervisors will benefit from having the same snapshot for the employees they manage so supervisors can remind their employees of things like reaching their vacation limit or to consider taking time off and use accumulating vacation time, or perhaps a reminder to use a floating holiday or Star Performer hours.
Employee and Manager Self-Service
Additional convenience: Supervisors and employees will be able to view and address exception items for timesheet errors that are not able to be processed.
