“Toys for the holidays” is definitely a wish-list item the UNT Police Department's K-9 Keegan understands. He's happy to do his part to make that dream come true for children in Denton County.

Keegan will be putting on his best smile to pose for photos and encourage people to support the annual WFAA Santa's Helpers toy drive, which is sponsored on campus by the Staff Senate.

Have your photo taken with Santa Keegan and emailed to you to print and frame. (Such a photogenic Santa may be in high demand, so the photos will be taken on a first come, first served basis.) Bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate there, or you can find a collection box in any of the major buildings on campus through mid-December.

The furry Santa will be waiting for you by Jody's Fountain in the Library Mall from 4 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, and 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21. And he will be at the Discovery Park UNT Police substation from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4.
