UNT TIP$ program logoThe UNT TIP$ ( Transforming Ideas into Profit and Savings) encourages benefits-eligible regular faculty and staff to suggest ways for our campus to operate more efficiently, reduce costs or expand our outreach to generate revenue that will be reinvested into our community.

It is designed to capture the expertise and ingenuity of those who understand our operations and mission. Faculty and staff are the backbone of our success, and their ideas can help us adapt, thrive, and remain strong without compromise.

This collaboration and open discourse of ideas will strengthen UNT’s future and allow us to continue providing exceptional service to our students.

If you are an eligible UNT faculty or staff member who has an idea that you’d like to share, visit UNT Connect TIP$ page to learn more and find resources to help you share these ideas.

Learn more about our commitment to fiscal responsibility by visiting UNT’s Strategic Budgeting website and reviewing the Financial Information quarterly updates.

To keep the process fair and transparent, executive leaders and those who help review or approve TIP$ ideas won’t be eligible for TIP$ rewards — but they’re encouraged to keep inspiring innovation across campus!
