UNT's Denton and Frisco campuses will remain closed Friday, Feb. 3, 2023. Roads, parking lots and sidewalks will remain hazardous because of overnight refreezing. All in-person and virtual classes are canceled.

Several campus services will be closed or will have modified hours during the remainder of the closure.

Dining Services

All Dining Services locations — including most retail locations in the University Union — will remain closed Friday, Feb. 3, 2023, with the exception of Champs and Eagle Landing, which will remain open for residential students.

Transportation Services

Find the latest information on DCTA’s bus service on DCTA's Twitter or website. UNT Transportation Services has canceled E-ride on Thursday, Feb. 2, 2023 and Friday, Feb. 3, 2023. Students should check the Transit app for the most up-to-date information.

University Union

The University Union building will be open until 10 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 2, 2023, and will open at 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3, 2023.

Pohl Recreation Center

The Pohl Recreation Center remains closed Thursday, Feb. 2, 2023 and Friday, Feb. 3, 2023.

Police Department

The UNT Police Department remains operational for those who remain on campus during inclement weather. The department operates 24 hours a day, every day of the year. For life-threatening emergencies, please call or text 9-1-1. The non-emergency number is 940-565-3000.
