Wren Baker named UNT Vice President and Director of Athletics effective Aug. 22
Today, July 29, the University of North Texas System Board of Regents voted unanimously to appoint Wren Baker as the new UNT Vice President and Director of Athletics, effective Aug. 22.
Baker, who currently is the interim Director of Athletics at the University of Missouri, will be officially introduced to the UNT community during a press conference at 10 a.m., Monday Aug. 1, 2016, in The Hub Club (Level 3) of Apogee Stadium.
UNT Fine Arts Series welcomes Humans of New York creator
What: Humans of New York: An Evening with Brandon Stanton welcomes the creator of the popular blog Humans of New York who will discuss his photography and stories with UNT students and guests. The event is part of the University of North Texas Mary Jo and V. Lane Rawlins Fine Arts Series in conjunction with the UNT Distinguished Lecture Series.

UNT hospitality program ranked No. 31 worldwide
DENTON, Texas (UNT) -- CEOWORLD Magazine has named the University of North Texas hospitality program among the best in the world. In its "Top 50 Hospitality and Hotel Management Schools" list for 2015, the UNT's Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management was ranked No. 31 out of 300 private and public hotel management schools. Approximately 18,000 hospitality professionals were surveyed for the listing.
