The Emergency Loan can help eligible students facing emergency expenses or unanticipated financial losses that threaten their enrollment. The level of assistance is up to $500 per academic year.
To qualify, applicants must meet all program conditions.

To be eligible to submit an application, you must answer YES to all of the following statements. Eligibility is determined at the time of application submission.
Special Note for Students Who Are Non-U.S. Citizens
If you're an international student in need of emergency financial assistance, your first step is to fill out the Student Aid Advocate Form. Once you've submitted the form, the Student Aid Advocate will determine if the Emergency Loan Program is the right resource for your situation. If it is, you'll receive a notification from the Emergency Loan Program with instructions on how to apply.
