If you need to make changes to your admission application, select from the options below.  

Defer Your Admission (admitted students only)

• With departmental approval, your admission can be deferred up to one year from your original term at no charge.
• Do not submit a new application.
• Be sure to withdraw from classes if you are enrolled.
• You will not qualify for deferral if you have attended another institute since your original admission.

Masters, PhD, and Graduate Academic Certificate Students: Contact your department for approval. Once approved, your admission will be deferred.

Graduate Non-Degree and Second Bachelors’ Students: Email GradAdmission@unt.edu to request deferral. Please mention in your email that you are a graduate non-degree or second bachelor’s student requesting to defer your admission.

Apply for a Different Program

To apply for a new program, please submit a new application. If you are a current student and want to change your program, you will indicate that on the application.

Withdraw Your Application

Submit a request form to withdraw your application.
