Congratulations UNT Spring 2026 Grads!

More than 7,300 graduates completed bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees this spring and are celebrating the milestone. Among those being recognized are several standout students whose stories reflect the impact of a UNT education.

Hear from two of UNT’s newest graduates about how they’ve grown in their time at UNT, their favorite memories and their dreams for the future.

First Cohort

M.S. Semiconductor Manufacturing

UNT is graduating its first cohort this spring from its accelerated Master of Science in semiconductor manufacturing engineering program, offered through the Center for Microelectronics in Extreme Environments (CMEE). The 12 students completed the one-year, interdisciplinary program designed to prepare them for immediate entry into the semiconductor workforce. Through hands-on research and collaboration, they gained experience developing advanced electronic materials and devices.

Alexis Coady

B.B.A. Human Resource Management

Alexis, a human resource management major, will cross the stage nearly a decade after starting college. After facing serious health challenges, becoming a mother and balancing work and school, she remained focused on finishing her degree. She plans to build a career in human resources while supporting her family and helping her husband relaunch his amateur boxing business.

Alfred Dozier IV

B.A. Journalism/Digital and Print, with a Minor in Political Science

Alfred Dozier IV, a digital and print journalism major with a minor in political science, has served as UNT’s Student Government Association president and a member of the inaugural President’s Student Advisory Committee. He has held numerous leadership roles across campus, including as a resident assistant, orientation leader and president of UNT’s chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists. Dozier also has moderated high-profile campus events, reflecting his strong leadership and communication skills.

Fabrienne Foster

Fabrienne Foster

M.S. Health Informatics

Fabrienne graduates this spring with a Master of Science in health informatics, a 4.0 GPA and a conference championship. A Division I student-athlete, she balanced graduate studies with track and field, helping UNT secure its first American Athletic Conference indoor title and winning an individual championship in the weight throw. She plans to pursue a career in healthcare, using data and technology to improve access and reduce disparities.

Hadiyah "Diyah" Muhammad, UNT international studies major and Rotary Global Grant recipient

Hadiyah “Diyah” Muhammad

B.A. International Studies/Business and Economics

Diyah, an international studies major in UNT’s Honors College, earned a $45,000 Rotary Global Grant to pursue a master’s degree at the London School of Economics. Her academic work and research focus on economic development and resource distribution, shaped by her upbringing in Dallas. Her academic achievements and commitment to service reflect her goal of making an impact in communities around the world.

Lina Rodriguez

Doctorate Counselor Education and Supervision

As a first-generation college student, Lina Rodriguez, Lina Rodriguez changed her life and opened the door for her entire family to attend college. This spring, she earned her doctorate in counselor education and supervision with a specialty in play therapy in the UNT's College of Education. This was her third UNT degree in 10 years.
